We’re delighted to introduce our new Community Hub at Beach House Park in Worthing. Beach House Park was opened to the public in 1924 and provides a calm and beautiful green space between the seafront and Worthing Hospital. The Park is home to Palm Court Pavilion Restaurant and Worthing Bowls Club, and is a favourite spot for dog walking. Our new Community Hub is located in the pavilion building next to Palm Court under a 12-month lease from Worthing Borough Council. There is easy access to the park on foot, by bicycle or by bus, and there is a public carpark next to the building.
The Community Hub is open Monday-Friday from 9.30am to 5.30pm. It is also open in the evening to 9pm and at weekends by arrangement.
The building will operate as a collaborative, inclusive, and welcoming space for all local groups. It provides accessible spaces for meetings, events, workshops, and community projects. We have three rooms available to hire, ranging from a small meeting space to a large group room with kitchenette. Room hire charges start from £5/hour. We also have access to external spaces, which include two former bowls green and hard standing areas. Our focus will be on fostering connection, supporting volunteer-led initiatives, promoting sustainability, reducing food waste, and enabling residents to share skills and knowledge. The hub will operate in a way that is fair, transparent, and sustainable, while respecting the heritage and character of Beach House Park.
If you would like to visit the Hub, or make a room booking enquiry, please contact us on info@awfoodpartnership.co.uk To find us, use what3words:beast.splash.cities
We look forward to welcoming you to our Community Hub!

We will seek to use our initial 12-month tenancy to establish the demand for an inclusive community hub, garden and event space, and to explore and establish funding streams for a sustainable longer-term tenancy.
